SACO Blazing Paddles Win First Prize at the Inaugural ITM & TBTM Dragon Boat Regatta

SACO’s team of novice dragon boat paddlers were thrilled to come through five competitive races to be named the winners at the Institute of Travel & Meetings (ITM) and The Business Travel Magazine’s (TBTM) first ever Dragon Boat Regatta held at The Oakley Court in Windsor on Sunday 16th August in support of ITM’s Project Icarus.*

Fourteen teams battled it out with each other on one of the hottest days of the summer but SACO Blazing Paddles powered through to overall victory. In a monumental effort the team managed ever increasing speeds and were the only team to win all of their races – paddling hard and fast to victory in three heats, a semi final and a nerve tingling final which they won in an amazing 55.24 seconds!
